Is the SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash 4GB @20MB/sec compatible with a Sony DSLR-A200 camera?

I was wondering since some CF cards are only compatible with certain electronics. And since the A200 only supports CF1-2 I am wondering if this CF card from SanDisk is compatible with the A200 camera. I’m planning to buy my first DSLR from a Sony brand, and am very sure the media made from SanDisk is very reliable and fairly cheaper that other brands. Please help, and thx in advance!

Don’t confuse the Extreme III designation with CF I or CF II designations.

CF1 and 2 refer primarily to the physical sizes of the cards, CF1 is thin and CF2 it thicker, typically for small hard drives called “microdrives.”

The Extreme III designation refers to the card being the third version of SanDisk Extreme lineup, their higher end of cards.

It’s a CF1 physical size.
