120hz Samsung $1325 or 240hz Toshiba $1400?
Wow, so today I went to video only ready to buy the Samsung, but they have this 47ZV650U REGZA 240Hz Toshiba that he offered me $1400 for. cnet actually has a review on it:

Is it worth the extra $75 or should i stick with the samsung?

Im ready to buy here in the next few hours. I will be using it mainly for PS3 gaming, what would be best? It’s so hard to choose haha
Any help and reasoning would be greatly appreciated! Thanks soo much, and happy fathers day to the fathers out there.
Thanks again,
Mark
BOUGHT THE SAMSUNG!! THANKS
I’d go with the Samsung. I have the 52″ version of that TV and I’ve been very happy with it. The black levels are very good on the Samsung, and according to that review, that appears to be a weakness on that Toshiba.
They’re both good TV’s, but Samsung has the edge these days, even over Sony.
Don’t worry about 120hz vs 240hz. That stuff is all marketing jargon. Cnet recently did a review and said they don’t see blur on even the current crop of 60hz TV’s.
Modern phones aren’t just for making calls. Multimedia is an important part of any modern phone experience, so let’s check out three of the best multimedia phones on the market.
Sony Ericsson Aino
If there’s one name that really stands out in the world of music phones, it’s ‘Walkman’. What happens, though, if you take a Walkman phone, and give it an 8MP camera that’s straight out of a Cyber-Shot phone, and re-christen it as an Entertainment Unlimited phone? You get the utterly brilliant Sony Ericsson Aino!
The combination of Walkman and Cyber-Shot is what makes the Sony Ericsson Aino, and the Entertainment Unlimited series as a whole, so very compelling. Top-end imaging is just a button-press away, and the Sony Ericsson Aino always makes music sound better than anything you can imagine. It doesn’t have a smartphone OS, but you do get a touch-enabled media centre with the Sony Ericsson Aino. Just slide the phone closed, and it goes from being a standard phone into being a touchscreen portable multimedia player!
Toshiba TG01
Windows Mobile needs a lot of power to run at its best. The OS has taken a lot of stick form people in the past, most notably from Apple fans, but the new Toshiba TG01 brings it up to a level that can actually compete with something like the iPhone 3GS. You see, the Toshiba TG01 has the two things WinMo needs to make it run really well: a powerful processor (coming in at 1GHz) and a massive screen (coming in at an unbelievable 4.1 inches). Combine that with a custom front end, as well as a 3 megapixel camera, and a custom user interface, and the Toshiba TG01 is easily the most well-featured Windows Mobile phone ever made, and as for multimedia, well… it’s hard to imagine videos NOT looking good on that 4.1 inch screen!
Samsung i8910 HD
As nice as the Sony Ericsson Aino is, however, it’s overshadowed by a phone from Korea, the Samsung i8910 HD. There’s a very good reason for that. Whilst it, like the Samsung Tocco Ultra has an 8 megapixel camera, the Samsung i8910 HD is also the first phone to record true 720p HD video. Never before has a phone been able to capture video at that massive high resolution, and coincidentally (or is it coincidence? Maybe not…), the Samsung i8910 HD captures high-def video at the exact quality that Youtube display high-def videos at. It’s very possible that the Samsung i8910 HD was designed with its main feature being the ability to get yourself on Youtube, in high-definition. And while the Toshiba TG01 has a 4 inch screen, that’s only slightly bigger than this phone, and the video on the Samsung i8910 HD easily surpasses the TG01. Now add the sumptuous 3.7 inch screen, and a huge 8Gb of internal memory, and it’s very clear that the Samsung i8910 HD show the world exactly how mobile multimedia should be done.
